Steve and I have been working tirelessly for the last several months to make the best hearing clinic in Texas. I want to walk you through the process, giving you a sneak peek of our new clinic.
First off, this is the architectural drawing we had developed to outline the clinic. The clinic has 8 inch walls on either side of the audiology room and a 6 inch wall toward the hallway. The reasoning for this is that we want our hearing testing and programming room to be as quiet as possible. Insulation was also installed in all three walls as well as in the ceiling. This room will give the best sound preservation we can manage.
The following image of our color palette is the hours-long toiling process of my husband Steve along with our interior designer, Christopher McCarty. They went to numerous stores, purchasing and borrowing countless sample color and material swatches to find the perfect combination of color and texture for our office to have just the right flow of bright and modern style.
As construction began, I became very concerned about space. Once the wall studs were in place, it started to become real. Our clinic might actually happen! The clinic has a lot of great natural light from the windows, and a lot of our architectural design took into consideration the beautiful windows already in the building.
We are so excited to be a part of the Heart of Lakeway
